How much you charge? I usually Quote a price per job, but If I am asked for Hourly rates I quote 16.50 ph maintenance or 23.50 ph Landscaping Do you Charge VAT? I am not currently VAT registered so I DONT charge VAT, this however could change should my turnover reach VAT limits. Are you Insured? I am insured through Coiln Hoe Hexham, My Policy is with AXA, we have 2million Employers liability & 10million Public lability. Do you have your own tools? Yes I have all the tools to do the job, Should hire ever be required a 15% discount will be passed on to the customer. Do you remove the rubbish? We have rubbish removed from Landscape contracts using skips. We advise composting for all general garden trimmings. How quick can you get here? I can generally get to look at a job within 7 days of contact, my waiting list is generally 4-12 weeks so get your quote early. Can I work along side you? Of course you can I will also show you how things are done, you can even learn and save money by working along side me. How far will you travel? We undertake any Landscape project, but we only offer Maintenance in the North East, however we may add a fuel surcharge. How do you lay a patio? We dig out to 250mm, infill with Hardcore, we then whack it down, Finally we install paviors on a 4:1 wet cement mix. Do you take cash? Yes we do,! but we dont offer any discounts on a cash basis payment, we are quite happy to take a cheque as payment also. Do you offer discounts? If a customer pays for the materials in advance I will offer discount subject to agreement with customer. Do u need access to electric? No! All my power tools are petrol and if I need access to electrical power I have my own generator. What are your Qualifications? I am an ex 88-91 Kirkley hall student qualified in C&G ph I, II, III. horticulture, I have always worked in horticulture. How much is an Estimate? You get up to a 1 hour consultation free, you get a free written quote on acceptance of your telephone/ email quotation. Do you guarantee your work?
